Timing
and Timing points
Automatic chip-detected
timing will be managed by Winningtime. The time will be caught by means of a
chip at the starting and finishing line. The real time of each runner will
be also included in final results along with the official finishing time.
Final results will be available on the website
www.lamezzadigenova.it at the same evening of the race.
Chip
Timing service will be
carried out by means of a microchip which also lets you record the time you
have really been running. You will be delivered the Chip along with the
running number.
When collecting the running number, be sure that it matches the delivered
Chip number. The Chip is strictly individual and non-transferable.
The Real Time is based on the elapsed time taken between the starting line
and the finish one. To operate the measurement system, the Chip must be
compulsorily worn around your ankle before starting, so pay attention: NO
CHIP NO TIME!
The Chip shall be given back to our staff by all runners who have finished
the race, those who have dropped out or given up starting.
NOTE: You can use the Chip only for the event of GENOA HALF MARATHON which
it was programmed for
Start
All runners must be ready at
the start area line up at 09.00 a.m. When you cross the starting line, the
Chip will be able to begin counting the real time.
Drink
Stations
There will be drink stations placed every 5 km, i.e. at 5th, 10th
and 15th kilometre, and at the finish area.
Sponging service
Sponging will be supplied every 5 km, i.e. at 7.5th, 12,5th and 17,5th
kilometre.
Medal
All finishers will receive the official medal of GENOA HALF MARATHON just
after the race in the finish area.

Rights
By entering GENOA HALF MARATHON, the runner shall expressly entitle the
organizers of GENOA HALF MARATHON, along with their media partner, to use
still and moving pictures taken during his participation to GENOA HALF
MARATHON which he may appear on. Such pictures may be used on all kinds of
medium, including promotional and/or advertising material, and all over
world. They may be used for the maximum period established by the Law,
Regulations, and by Treaties in force. A possible extension may be added to
such established period.
